As we walk that road, we're putting ourselves in the shoes of the apostles , in an e xercise of empathy . Asking ourselves what this experience was for th os e twelve men . Asking ourselves what they lost and what they found . What they had to learn and unlearn as they followed and learned to imitate their R abbi, Jesus .
